    As much as people say “Machinsit isn’t a gunner job” despite the devs introducing it as such in the job reveal way back when, my concern isn’t gadgets my concern is both the fact that MCH is actively removing its gun play every expansion, and the gadgets themselves. Flashy in nature but tone deaf in execution to the point of being generic GCD which apply to every single skill MCH has not even joking with its more complex ones being equally dull and uneventful like wildfire and …I guess just wildfire

    With the removal of spread shot, I think MCH only has its 1-2-3 Heat blast and Gauss round as it’s only uses for guns. What MCH needs its more skills combining both Gadgeteer flare and its gunner appeal something we haven’t gotten since arguable Ricochet. Let’s be reasonable what did Chainsaw add to the rotation? What did Scattershot add that was so vital? Annoying how with all of MCH hang ups they end up getting just another tacked on GCD to fit with its other 2 GCD, and 6 other Ogcds.

    MCH mains have never been bright to suggest anything beyond “gimme 1 skill that won’t do anything” as of late and even more think the gameplay is flawless but like is it? Is Heat blast so fun to press over and over? Is having 6 GCDs abit gluttonous and fatty? Is wildfire a joy to press? Are the turrets fun? Is the standard loop even thrilling? I really don’t wanna look forward to 7.0 thinking it’s getting 1 aoe

    Yeah, it is to me. I love MCH.
    Although I would like the turrets to be expanded on a bit more instead of the fire and forget of what it is now.
    Can it be better? Yes.
    Is it the dumpster fire people make it seem in this thread? No.

    No one say it's a dumpster fire, people say there's not a point in mch existing and our core issues are never heard and fixed.
    Ask for rapidfire and wildfire to be charged based or just removal of rapidfire? Remake the job based on that specific skill with hypercharge.
    Ask for Flamethrower to actually do something? :^)
    Ask to have a minimum of dps, support tools or movement needed in fight? see above.

    Job works, that's it.

    No one said so.
    Flamethrower belong to the garbage can but MCH is fine.
    The problem is that it's "just" fine.

    It's flat and doesn't have much more to its kit. The gauge are way too simple, both are fill and empty with one ability.
    And the Queen is fully automated so one of your gauge has no interaction at all beyond emptying it.
    Take a look at wildfire, you press it, you press Hypercharge and you just resume your rotation. Is it fun?
    Flamethrower? press and go brew some tea or something.
    1 2 3 filler is quite boring.

    The only interesting tools in the whole kit are Drill, Air Anchor and Hypercharge+GR/Ricochet.

    And that simply I mentioned every abilities that plays into the Single Target rotation.
    Way too much abilities are automated.

    It's "fine", it "works". But it could be so much more.
