    Getting error 90006 every time i log in the server after 30 seconds

    I don't know if others are having the same issue as me, but this is basically what happens:

    It begun yesterday, meanwhile i was playing.
    Everything stopped, the screen went black after a bunch of seconds wit the error message 90006 "connection with the server was lost".
    I tried to log in again to the game, and it begun to become more frequent.
    I tried to run the game in admin, and renew the DNS, but so far it hasn't worked.
    I am now still trying to stay logged in for more than 30 seconds, but everything is in vain.
    The last time (literally just now) the game lasted about 10 minutes before kicking me out of the server again.
    I don't know what may be the source of this error, please help
    (My server is Spriggan btw)

    Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

    - The game will use the Internet Explorer web browser to connect to the internet. Open Internet Explorer, then open the "Tools" setting, go to "Internet Options" and adjust the following settings:
    - Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
    - Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
    - Under the "Privacy" tab, click “Advanced” and select ‘Accept’ under both First Party and Third Party Cookies.
    - Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
    - Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED. [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
    - Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.
    - Please RESTART your PC now. Once your PC has been restarted, Right-Click the FFXIV launcher icon once more and select "Run as Administrator"

    -Make sure your fire wall or antivirus program is not interfering with the game

    - Check to see if the following port ranges are opened on your router. You can contact your ISP and request they open them for you:
    ▼TCP
    54992 through 54994,
    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040

    -Try disabling background applications and do a clean boot by opening the task manager and selecting the “Start up” tab. Disable everything and then restart the PC.

    I tried the Internet Explorer steps, but nothing has changed.
    I double checked and FFXIV is listed under the exceptions of the firewall and antivirus, so it has no problems with them.
    I also have already disabled high impact unnecessary apps by the task manager

    I tried to login again and it happened again shortly after i joined Spriggan server.

    The only thing i haven't tried i to see the port ranges, so i'll check eventually and notify what happens.
    If it doesn't work either, what should i do?

    I have even tried the router ports, made a rule to make them invulnerable to the firewall, but still the thing is not working.
    I even set the game in compatibility mode for Windows 7
    I just wanna play :,(

    You are having the same problem that me and others players have. Just check here:

    There, we are trying to understand whats happening with FF servers because so many players are having disconects, lag spikes etc. Im having lag spikes everyday, as we go into the night, the worse it gets cuz we have more players online. When I play at morning I rarely have lag spikes. I have even tried VPNs (Mudfish) but It did not work for me.

    We dont know what to do, but lets keep reporting until SE see that theres something wrong wiith FF servers. Everyday more players report those disconects problems.

    tried the IE stuff, but I think the game uses IE only for the Launcher.

    Tried all the other stuff already, it's been 3 days that I can't actually play, have the same behavior as the title of this thread, log to the game, connection to server says excellent, as soon as got into the world game start lagging and kicks me out after 30 seconds more or less.

    Idk, i sent a ticket to SE regarding this issue, hope they'll be able to tell me more, or fix it if i'm lucky enough. I haven't been able to play for four days now
