Hi there!

Ok so, I'm kind of a new player here that has been playing as a healer for a very long time on other mmo's and just noticed a small issue that i would very much like to get addressed if other people agree with me.

As a healer the way I mostly heal on dungeons and raids is by using mouseover macros, and here's the thing, in other mmo games, such as wow, the mouseover mechanic works a bit different than it does here, in this game when you place the arrow over someone, and this being either a party member, a character or a npc that you can heal, then press the left or right click to make the arrow disappear without releasing the button and moving your mouse in any direction, the game interprets such action as having that last arrow location as your current location for mouseover.

Let me explain that a bit better.

I've been using this kind of macros for most of my healing spells:

/micon Physick
/merror off
/ac Physick <mo>
/ac Physick <t>
/ac Physick <me>

What it does is prioritize 3 kinds of targets, if my mouse arrow is over someone that i can heal then it will heal that target, if that's not happening then my heal will go for my current target, if my current target cannot be healed (an enemy for example) then it will heal me.

And there's the issue, let's say for example that i have the tank as my main target for any sort of reason, because i need to be moving a lot in certain directions and i need the freedom of my mouse to do so, so i can no longer keep doing mouseover heals at certain times, if for some reason i do a left/right click on the ground without releasing or moving the mouse and then try to use that macro for healing, instead of healing the tank it will heal me, because the game thinks i just clicked on the ground to release my current target even if that didn't happen yet, because if i don't move the mouse and then release my left/right click that would count as having released the button and performed a click on the ground to release current target, but if i do move the mouse then the "click" on the ground action to release current target gets canceled.

This also applies to many other situations that I've been having problems with, but that would be the main one.

As i said previously, in wow this does not happen, because the game would not recognize that new target until you release the left/right click button, and as someone that has been playing that game for over 13 years getting used to this new way of targeting is getting really difficult for me, because i need to constantly try to remember that i need to move the mouse around if i don't want to lose my current target by either a missclick or something like that.

I'm not sure if i explained very well the issue, if so I'll be glad to record a video showing it.

Also I'm open for possible solutions to my issue if none of you is having the same problem as i do.

Cheers!
