I will be nutting to the sound of Asmongold streaming another round of FFXIV today. Asmongold is the only light of my life right now, seeing him play FFXIV feels better than injecting fentanyl tarred heroin into my veins. If only I played on Aether, I would tell Asmongold how much Asmongold means to me and express my love to Asmongold in game. I'm sure Asmongold would love it when you give him some aether crystals. So he can become way more stronger and temper you more.

So glad I'm in EU servers. Never heard of the guy but it is pretty annoying to see reddit and forum posts like he is some sort of idol or something. Sure it's good that he brings more players to the game but there should be a line when it comes to idolizing normal people.

Would be pretty odd american streamer play on a EU server though. Zepla is an exception but she lives in Europe iirc but is american?

It saddens me that people think these are actions of a single person with too much time and money on their hands and not a co-ordinated effort from a competitor

I'd be more inclined to believe that take if it weren't for the various accounts having all their crafters levelled, because that's a lot of unnecessary levelling just to get a fake account up and running for forum posting.

It still could be multiple people, but it looks like the characters are being used for other purposes.

You may well be right .

I do still think its a co-ordinated effort by multiple people. The timing of posts ,the amount of accounts involved, replying to their old threads that were created by old now seemingly unused accounts that were also well known for doing the same, which have topics of nerve touching subjects that seem to tie in with a subject or controversy of the week/month .
