Will Square Ever Re-Run A Collaboration?

Oh they often do rerun them (the FFXI events were run multiple times throughout the years), but there is no pattern to it, they just simply decide "now is a good time to bring that back" and do it. Given the next expansion's launch is greatly delayed due to the pandemic and there is a long lull in content accordingly, we're going to be seeing a number of the old crossover events return (gear from past events that has ended up on the Mogstation for sale is a pretty good indicator that event is not coming back sadly).

But if they are gonna re-run the FFXV collaborations. I thought I saw the Regalia (The car) on the Mog Station. Since XV is gonna have a re run, what is it doing on the Mog Store? (Again if I remembering this correctly)

Unfortunately the Regalia is not for sale on the Mogstation, I just checked '4 person mounts' there (which the Regalia is) and the only 4 person mount offered for sale is the Chocobo Carriage (SE did recently add the Lunar Whale airship from FFIV as the first 8 person mount to the Mogstation for sale however, which may be what you saw). There is also Cloud's Fenrir motorcycle from FFVIIAC for sale there as I mentioned previously which is sleek and black like the Regalia so that could be mistaken for the car at a glance.

So rest easy knowing that the Regalia is coming back in the rerun of the FFXV event soon, you're not in danger of wasting money so don't worry! (The first time the FFXV event was run, the Regalia costed a whopping 500000 MGP from a special vendor at Gold Saucer once you completed the FFXV event, so I recommend you start saving your MGP if you haven't already!)

If I recall correctly, the Final Fantasy XV event re-run is on September this year. Requires level 50. It gives Noctis clothes, hair, some FFXV music and the Regalia.

The Yokai may be another one who can get a re-run to add the missing weapons for reaper and sage (when they come out).

Others like NieR and Monster Hunter are permanent.

About the others, who knows.

The Yokai Watch event has been run at least three times now, with the latest adding more minions and weapons for samurai, red mage, dancer, and gunbreaker, along with another mount for collecting all 17 weapons. But I'm given to understand that Yoshi-P is a personal friend of the director of Yokai Watch, which is part of why it gets a bigger event than most crossovers, and why it keeps coming back.

But I'd want a cross-over really only if we get female character glamours as well as male ones, not one male glam or one female glam fits all--- but an idea for another car mount only this time from FF-VIII; one of the fancy ones you can ride along in or maybe a Balamb Garden mount or Ragnarok mount

For an FF-X cross-over I'd hope for Yuna's wedding dress & her wedding hair
Yuna's signature earring & original hairstyle As well as one of her staves for a skin for WHM
Aurons hair (if we don't already have it) His glasses & Coat
Valefor as a mount (Yuna uses Valefor to catch her to escape her forced marriage so why not have her as a mount?)

I just don't want an event that gives only male glamour or only female glamour because that imo would lowkey alienate some people? idk, that might be really reaching. I know not everyone was onboard with the 2-B dress being released without 9s outfit so I'm going by that-

I didn't participate in the FFXV cross-over event because I didn't care for any of the loot or the game itself (Yes, I know the mount was a 4-seater but I didn't like the car design. Noctis' emo hair & his outfit wasn't my taste either. I'd hoped it'd introduce Lunafreya's hair & her dress, too.)

No gender locks, although as should be expected, the hair can't be used by Viera and Hrothgar.

I would like to see Yuna's wedding dress also, but I'm more interested in the X-2 outfits

If they do add Lunefreya's clothing. Her dress would look good with Lightnings XIII hairstyle. (If I buy the Lightning Guardian Corps look)
