    Error 90006 Frequent disconnects from Zalera, game unplayable

    For the last 2-3 months I am having increasing problems with disconnects from the game servers for Zalera. I've tried other servers and they also have the same issue. I had 12 disconnects in 4h 'play'. The game is unplayable like this. I cannot get though in game cut scenes or group play without a disconnect. I'm stuck as I cannot get though the story line.
    When I press START, two things might happen. Most often I get the 2002 error about the connection to the Lobby server, which forces me to re-login. PS4 is using wired network and I am in USA.

    It seems to be totally random when it happens. It doesn't matter what I'm doing or not doing in game.

    As I am on PS4 I have very limited abilities to check my network connection from there, but I also stream my game-play to twitch and when the disconnect problem happens, the stream just continues OK. Although it jumps to the jumping PS4 symbols because you entered a blocked scene. And when you are actually returned to the login screen the stream stops (because that seems to be PS4 functionality).

    So my conclusion is that this is not a problem with my internet connection. Checked the time setting and it was set to automatic.

    Please provide some solution to this problem, as I can see on the Forum and on Reddit that there are a increasing number of people having this problem on different servers.

    Yes, I play on ps4 either and Im having connection problems for around 1 month now.

    Same, about a month now I'm experiencing some disconnects, but mostly lag like crazy. No other online games I'm playing are lagging at all.

    We apologize for the delay in responding. Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

    - Please make sure that "Cookies" and "JavaScript" are ENABLED on the PSN browser. If they are already checked, please uncheck them then recheck them.
    - The issue could also be from the "Date & Time" settings on your PS4.
    1. Close the FINAL FANTASY XIV game/application.
    2. Go to [SETTINGS] on your PS4
    3. Select [Date and Time], and "Set via Internet". (Please do not manually set the date and time.)
    4. Once the date and time have been updated, please restart your PS4 console.
    5. Once the console has fully restarted, please start the FINAL FANTASY XIV game/application.

    Please make sure all other internet-enabled devices (including smartphones, laptop/desktop PCs, tablets, etc.) have been disabled and/or turned OFF to minimize game interference.

    If the above steps do not resolve the issue, please check to see if the following port ranges are opened on your router. You can contact your ISP and request they open them for you:

    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040

    a lot of people are having this issue, looked for a bit in this forum from what i've gathered it's a problem on square part that it hasnt been fixed in months, i recently started experiencing this too, but at this rate i'll quit the game altogether

    Went through every step that was given from the generic auto tech response above. Nothing worked, all ports open, dat and time was set correctly like I previously stated. And I played Elder Scrolls online amongst other online games to other servers across the world and did not have a single lag, disconnect or issue of any kind. Clearly this is on Square-Enix's end not mine. Maybe its time to fix the server and stop charging people for a bogus product????? I'm gonna need a refund for my membership fee and the Pre-Order of Endwalker, since I can't play it anyway.
