i killed Ixion and i didnt get Achi and either the Ixion horns

i was on group and we killed Ixion as FATE i get complete... but i didnt get the achivement and i didnt get the item of Ixion horns as all the other player on my group... i tried to ask to GM online they told me to open here a ticket.
this is unacceptable.

In order to get Gold Rating (required for the achievement) and all 6 Ixion horns, you must generate enough enmity.

Enmity can be the same as damage, but is different. Tanks generate more enmity than the damage they deal when using their tank stance.

The enmity of your entire party is taken into account for rewards and gold rating, so joining a party usually guarantees gold rating and 6 horns, but this is not guaranteed in general.

The ratings are Bronze (no rewards), Silver (half rewards), Gold (full rewards).

(Want to add, this is an extremely common misunderstanding among new players and there is not a day that it doesn't need clarifying to people. If all of the people in your party are dead or just didn't generate much damage or enmity, there won't be any rewards.)

wait a second... if another player low level, i'm 72 and he is 70 , has got achi+item and i didnt get nothing, with tank stance on... this is not a common mistake but a bug.
I opened a ticket on game and GM told me to make a post here... i hope someone will check and give me a full reward.

If the other party member got the achievement and item in the exact moment that you didn't, then you may have been in a cross-world party. Cross-world parties do not share enmity across the party. It's as if you are alone.

To form a normal party, you have to disband the party and reform it, inviting them normally. You can form a non-crossworld party in Party Finder, just make sure "recruit from across the data center" is disabled. It should appears an orange party, not a blue party (because blue parties are cross-world parties).

I see all this discussion will not give me the loot and than item... i got it... my personal opinion still the same "unacceptable" and i still dont understand how a problem on game, where normally a GM online after opening a ticket will talk in game and resolve the problem, here i should to open a treath and everybody may give me an answer

So since your party was blue we'll assume it was a cross-world party.

That means every individual's enmity only counts toward their own gold rating, instead of being combined like in a normal party.

If your friend at the same free company got the achievement at the same time as you didn't, then they generated enough enmity and you did not.

The way to resolve that is to fight Ixion again but next time join a normal party (so don't invite anyone to it who isn't currently on the same world, or it'll make it a cross-world party).

I can see you are a Dark Knight, so make sure you turn on Grit next time. Grit makes you generate far more enmity. You could also try spamming Unmend. At my current level of 80 on a Dark Knight, I could get gold rating on my own that way.

I think the GMs probably won't do anything because the enmity and rating system is a mechanic of the game and not a bug.

I think it won't be treated as a bug in this forum either because it's working as intended. The developers do not actually respond in this forum, they just evaluate if it's a bug or not and then attempt to fix it in a patch.

I didnt ask to fix any data system of game and i didnt say this is a Bug, i just reported an issue that i had on game on this topic after a GM told me to do it here. So if you said GM won't do anything either say something this is a JOKE from my point of view. Online " ah sorry we cant do nothing here plz report on this forum inside this topic" and than when a new player trying to get an answer "Ah no but here nodoby won't do anything..."

I'm afraid that yes, the GM directing you here was probably their way of saying they cannot do anything. They were saying that if you believe it's a bug, to report it in the bug forum as a bug report that will be processed by their quality assurance and development teams. As I explained it's probably not regarded as a bug so nothing will probably happen, but you never know.

You're right about this point and I agree with it. One way or another, it's not being successfully communicated to new players what gold, silver and bronze rating is, how enmity influences it and how being in a party influences it.

Now, us discussing this point on these forums may be read and considered for changes, but they usually don't reply to what we say.
