    Possible solution?

[Placard does state for Relocation or Sale during their respective phases] Plot is relinquished > Invisible 10-hour-timer starts for Relocation (that's 42% of a real day to decide). Once Relocation timer is up no more Relocation and the plot goes up for sale > next 0-4 hours that plot can not be bought (that is minimum of 58% of a real day to login and see there could potentially be a plot up, given the relocation goes unphased) > 4-12 hours the invisible timer starts (like the current one) > invisible timer goes off or after 12 hours > the plot goes up for insta-purchase. The minimum amount of turn around time would be 14 hours from relinquish to purchase with max being 26 hours. Relocation still gets priority but timers favor a buyer. Lastly, the knowledge of a rough buy window with only an 8 hour spam window is priceless. What do you think?

No. Its far too complicated for one. I feel like i would need a chart to explain this to a new player. Secondly, shortening the timer isnt as much of a benefit as you might think. A shorter window will lead to more people camping and them clicking more desperately. And it still doesnt do anything about bots. If the solution is still going to include timers, moving away from clicks seems like the more reasonable answer. The thread further down the front page about a "Camping Mode" is a much more elegant solution.

Oh, and posting the exact same copy-paste thing 12 separate threads is not cool. Make one post(this), or add it to the megathread. If the idea is worth discussing, everyone will notice it and talk about it.

If this is complicated don't ever be a Botanist and do Ephemeral Nodes. I'll simplify it. Demo > Relocation > Wait period > Up for sale with timer. This is a high-end, well-known MMORPG people will always abuse the limits. Idk what to do about a clicking solution other than X clicks per day. The camping thread still makes you waste an entire day by being logging in not being able to play the game that only solves the clicking solution.

I'm liking it more and more. Really is onto something. How about a phase to relocate and a phase to buy so they don't overlap and then start the 'camping' process. Down payment would be a must as to assure auto-assigning the plot to a winning 'camper'.

    Relinquish > Relocation > Wait period > Buy/'Camping'

    1. Posting it once in one thread is enough. Not necro several with the same damn thing.

    2. Shortening the the timer wouldn't matter much, infact knowing it's far smaller would only compound the issues we have. Botters camping plots and people no-life'ing the placards. While he risk to physical health is lessened (over a day at max instead of over three days at max) it wouldn't truly be worth the effort to implement.

Since you seem adamant in posting the same thing in several threads, I feel it's better you get the same result. Keep it to one thread so there is less clutter.
