Suggestion for FFXIV Endgame Content

Nah, I prefer higher-end content to be socially-gated in an mmo. There’s plenty of content for soloers, but that doesn’t mean all content needs to be soloable.

Resources such as The Balance wouldn’t exist if this endgame community didn’t want to encourage people to get to the point where they can participate.

If someone isn’t going to put the effort into preparing themselves for endgame or savage, trust carries aren’t going to teach them anyway.

Resources already exist, but an enhanced sss dummy with a personal rating is about the only concession I’d be willing to make for console players. Trust clears are off the table.

I think you misunderstand me. I made it very clear in the proposal that this would not count as a clear. It's simply a way to basically have learning parties without having to do it with humans. I proposed this because it is often difficult to find learning parties when you want to practice something. I'm sorry but I am not about gatekeeping game content socially. We all pay the same amount to play.

They specifically called out that no rewards would be given for doing this. I don't think they are asking for the ability to clear it solo.

I think their idea is that something like this would help people with their confidence by being able to practice the fight and learn without inconveniencing other players and then getting harassed and put down.

They did not ask for the entry requirements to be changed or for the clear requirements to be changed. They are looking for a way to make gaining experience easier and I think I agree with them. I think this could be a good thing as long as they kept all rewards out of this mode and it was simply practice only.

I don't see where they mentioned being a console player. I am not sure why you would be against something that could help people make the jump from the normal content to EX and Savage. There is very little to help players make this jump, I think this could, and does not belittle the achievements of others. That is SE's job with unsync and overgearing.
