Request to become Dad of Light

I don't post much, so I apologize if I'm in the wrong section, or if I missed a similar post on this topic. I wish there was a service that would allow an alt character to be moved to its own account.
I am a Legacy 1.0 player with nearly all jobs capped, numerous mounts, gear, and a house. My child created an alt character on the account years ago (before the age of 10) just for fun. Initially it was just to play with the character creation, and then it was just to stab nutkins outside of Gridania. Eventually it evolved into playing regularly, clearing endgame content, making several friends, and earning numerous achievements.
Due to the understandable housing restrictions, this alt character cannot get their own house. However, I cannot Friend this alt to give it housing privileges to the house on the primary character to give my child access. Also, we obviously cannot play at the same time and adventure together.
Since we both have a lot invested in each of our characters (and my legacy status), it's not really convenient for either of us to start over on a separate account. We are coping at the moment, but it will be more difficult to deal with when my child goes to college and wouldn't have the same access to the account because of the security token etc.
Long story short, I wish there was a service to pay to move the existing character to a new account. I understand that there are obvious concerns with RMT and selling of accounts. But I would be willing to pay a transfer fee and verify billing that both accounts would be billed/paid by the same person (me) to show this would be a legitimate request to be a Dad of Light and play with my child.

I wish you luck, but I think SE is unlikely to create a service like this. Account sharing is against the terms of service, so I'd recommend against admitting that you've been doing so.

Honestly I think it'd be best for your son to make his own account. It will suck having to redo everything he's already done but it will only get harder the longer he puts off doing it.

Honestly cut your losses early, make a clone of your kids character and level them up/boost the character on another account and surprise them with the new account. You can check what mounts or minions are most important to them and get those too.

Gift your son a level/msq skip, transfer as much as possible between accounts, and tell him to have at. Make sure he creates on a preferred server so he can take advantage of road to 70.

Otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to help my mother get through the solo duties. (Well before they put in an easy mode.) It’s hard to keep up when you hit 72 like she has. I think I ended up doing most of the solo duties from ARR-Stormblood. Shadowbringers was the only time she was able to do them on her own.

I don't think that's possible due to how character data is handled in this game but it would be a nice service for people in your situation to have. I know allows account transfers.
