Some Minion Codes Expire, Some Don't on Mog Station

Please don't flame me, but I feel I have to ask as a collector and I'm sure others can sympathize. I've been attempting to collect several of the hard to obtain minions. Recently, I picked up a few of the old blu-ray soundtracks and to my surprise, despite the expiration, some codes work and some don't, while support can help with some while they can't with others. For example, the 2016 Before the Fall album included the set of primogs, but the code still works. I recently managed to find a rare, unopened copy of Before Meteor and it included the Dalamud minion code. To my dismay, support said they cannot issue a new code for it despite it being valid. While I understand in a way, the inconsistency of validity bothers me.

Is there any possibility the developers / Square-Enix as a whole would consider a way to redeem or reissue a valid, yet expired code? I voiced my concerns to support, but it seems to have fallen upon deaf ears.

Unfortunately, as I understand it the reason for the discrepency between some item codes having no expiry date and others do is the same reason why some mounts and gear available for purchase on the Mogstation are account wide, and others can only be redeemed for a single character - it's because how the code redemption system on the Mogstation is programmed there are only a certain limited amount of code 'slots' available to be used (basically a unique string of hex numbers that identify that item in the programming) and they were quickly beginning to reach that limit.

Apparently changes made to the Mogstation and item redemption mean they can now offer more items with no exipiration date for the code or offer codes for items that can be used account wide, but sadly that is not retroactive, meaning earlier offered items like the Wind-Up Dalamud are now forever unattainable. So alas I don't think SE will be able to offer those again.
