Character not appearing at the character select screen

My character's name appears at the login screen but I can't login nor does my character's image appear.

Anyone having this issue as well?

Same here. I got stuck in the loading screen after beating the rank 40 Garuda fight. Came back in and there is nothing there...ugh...

IM FREAKING OUT MAN!!!.. that means i got the same problem.. i was going to teleport to gridania.. game froze puff char gone..

I attempted to return to the Inn in Uldah then my Return Countdown started but my character was not teleported to the inn and just stayed in place near Camp Black Brush. I could not move could not select any actions but I could use the interface and select things just not interact with them. It was thought my character and movements were frozen so I logged out.

I can reach the character select screen where my character's name is present in the right column but my character does not appear on the character select screen, just like everybody else. I can click the name but it won't log me in, it just stays at the character select screen.

well, least i wasn't the only one this happened to. i was moving to the uldah grand company and my character just froze there for a good 30 minutes, logged off then came back in and BAM! character also went blank
