Launcher Stuck

I am having an issue with my launcher where it will not load past the screen displaying the "Final Fantasy XIV Online" Logo on a grey screen. I have been playing the game for months, then suddenly out of the blue it stopped working a day ago after logging out for less than an hour. I have searched online and exhausted any options that seemed feasible on my end, these include, uninstalling the game and reinstalling, trying to change the launcher version of ffxiv from 2 to 1, updating my computer's graphics cards, installing any windows updates available. One thing i'd seen was something about launching internet explorer to mess with some settings in there, i've never run internet explorer on this computer in the 5 years or so that i've had it, but when trying to launch it, it just displays a white screen then crashes. I've tried a number of things to try and get internet explorer running including running my computer in 'safe mode' which it would not run, uninstalling and reinstalling, resetting internet explorer, etc. None of which gave any results. Somebody please help me out with this so that I can get back to playing the game!!

I got tired of trying to find fixes so I just went ahead and Reset my PC for the sake of ffxiv. Internet Explorer now launches without crashing, and the launcher is no longer stuck. Now to reinstall everything I lost.
