In a reality, if we measure strength only by how much you can destroy, then viruses are the strongest l̶i̶f̶e̶ forms on the planet by nature. It's the only thing they do and it's how they survive.

Humans can cause a disastrous event/calamity only for themselves, the life on earth is still going to flourish long after we caused our demise. So we being able to nuke ourselves is not a show of strength.

Strength is not determined by how much you can destroy it is much more complicated than that. It is a collective of many good virtues. And when you lack them it becomes visible. Destroying is easy, it is much harder to do the opposite which is where strength is required.
