Fantasia and Name Change

Hello,
Posting to discuss the possibility of Fantasias and Name Changes either getting bonded or both getting a more balanced price.
I understand that $10USD is a nice round number, but on top of paying for the whole game (twice in my case since I changed platforms) and paying subscription fees- to need to pay a total of $20USD just to change the way my OG character looks and is called since the new races have been added (moreover my maturity has grown since starting, regarding the name change) is a bit rough for someone wo dabbles with the poverty line and shouldn't be playing and paying the games sub fee game anyways.

I beg you XIV team, reduce the price of one or both of them. Or at the very least combine them for $12USD. Shouldn't be so hard on your system that either of the prices are justified. Kinda surprised more people aren't talking about this outside of my FC.

That'd be nice and makes sense because it's not uncommon to bundle those together for a discount, so there's no way we're ever getting this

They make so much money on fantasia alone, I don't see them lower it. They do run sales occationally though.

I'm pretty sure they are very competitive in terms of pricing across mmos.

Wows name change is also 10 dollars, but their race change is 17.50 (on sale)

Gw2 name change is also 10 dollars, and you can't race change at all. Appearance changes are about 5 bucks for the same race.

I definitely think they should sell a bundle, because when I decide to fantasia I usually change my name too because I like race appropriate names. However, $12 as suggested by the OP is a little unreasonable of a discount to expect, $15 seems more appropriate (like buy one, get one half off)...even though I know they'll never do this so this post is pointless. LOL

I don't know if they can be bundled when they're done with totally different mechanisms – one triggered by an in-game item and the other purely through Mog Station and active the next time you log in.

I don't know if there's an inherent difference to how they're set up, but it's strange that they've set up two separate systems if they can be linked.

Wouldn't work unless it included a Lodestone ID number change as well.

You get a free fantasia for beating ARR and another from playing long enough.
The name change is usually something you would just do once so I don't see the harm in it costing.

You only get 1 Fantasia from beating 2.0 ARR. That's it.
