Dx11 11000002 crash on Win10 at random intervals

I started playing after fan fest so I couldn't tell you how long the problem has persisted for everyone else, but I've been having random crashes at different points in time typically four times a day with no apparent cause or solution. The game will randomly cut to black with no warning, music still playing, with a white popup box that says

And it'll keep playing music until I click OK and it quits to desktop.

I have XIV and my Windows installed on my SSD (C) drive, it happens whether I'm on fullscreen or borderless windowed, I put my RTX 2080 down to 1710mhz clock speed, I capped my framerate to 72, I've downloaded the latest Nvidia 2080 drivers, I've turned off Nvidia, Steam, and Discord overlays, and I've even uninstalled and reinstalled off of a clean Windows boot, all to no effect.
