They only read data. They don't read their own forums.
Kind of a red flag to say they didn't see it on the forums when both JP and NA sides of the forums have a 150+ Dark Knight topic each.
It's a known fact they balance jobs around raids. So raid data is all that matters.
I think the only way things really change is if dps and healers complain about DRK. I’m pretty sure the only threads they bother with are the dps.
Looks like not playing the job is the only way to get their attention.
Or, if you need a dose of hopium: there is no change because they are busy working on the 6.3 rework
sadly that doesn't really surprise me with patch notes. Drk will excel better at single fight encounters but will lack the mob sustain part
for a year, would you rather be secretly filmed at random moments and have the footage uploaded to your social media or loose $100 when ever you said a curse word?
Please Yoshi, just a crumb of fixes

I just hate how they are going to use the "there is a plenty amount of DRK progresing in savage right now" to don't do anything on it, like if having top dps justifies to carry the worst gameplay design it has been imposed since SHB and ignore the fact that many of this raiders just care about numbers adventage and no gameplay design.
The only thing that actually susprise me about all of this is no tank ajustments at all, PLD need a dps boost at least and get literally nothing is like mmmm ok looks like tanks don't deserve even minimun balance like that.

If anything thats what bugged me the most, PLD has the easiest fixes of all the tank problems yet they didn't get anything.I just hate how they are going to use the "there is a plenty amount of DRK progresing in savage right now" to don't do anything on it, like if having top dps justifies to carry the worst gameplay design it has been imposed since SHB and ignore the fact that many of this raiders just care about numbers adventage and no gameplay design.

For a low effort potency buff patch, a class that needed it the most got passed over.
Yoshi P and his dev team won't see this because they are just a group of dps mains. While I do like RDM, I wish DRK and the other tanks got that level of love. Can't prog anything group content wise without healers and tanks. Both roles should be enjoyable and not feel like a punishment.
Pretty sure this is exactly why we never get any proper attention - they look at content participation rates when deciding changes and even if tanks and healers are collectively in a shite state, they will always see 2 of each in every party - "clearly everything is fine, so many people playing tanks and healers in raids after all!". On top of that, since the party building mechanics essentially force you to take half of the existing tank/healer jobs (2/4), even if one is particularly bad it won't really see that much of a difference in participation, compared to when this happens with a DPS job.
When physical ranged was so bad at SHB launch that it wasn't worth the 1% main stat buff, people could just ditch them entirely. When NIN's output was laughable, people just played another dps and the job's clear numbers dropped. With support roles there isn't much to switch too and 4 people always have to "suffer" them for the rest of the raid, regardless of how bad they feel to play.
