It doesn't need a buff. Damage-wise, DRK is fine. That doesn't mean we can't move potencies around for gameplay quality.
At present, though, there truly is no reason not to make Delirium an upgrade of Blood Weapon, since they share a recast time and have no anti-synergy that isn't easily dealt with.
I felt like I should reply in this thread to support Drk especially since I'm a player that's been around for a long time and basically mains the tank role.
I really just want the class to have reasonable sustain like most others have said, if we at least have that on this class it will make things a lot more manageable in all content in the game. And not only that but I always feel bad for new players coming into the game that decide to play Drk as their first class to cap or first tank in general.
Its really rough for them since you don't have consistent mitigation until level 70 when you get the blackest knight. Since Dark Mind is so situational its usually just a dead skill in a lot of content especially during dungeon grinding.
I wish that they didn't decide to make Abyssal Drain and Carve and Spit share the same CD and didn't even bother putting a heal on Carve and Spit at least. I do understand they were reducing button bloat, but it still doesn't feel good for someone that has played this class a lot.
And last but not least can Living Dead please be an better emergency button? It has been so questionable for so long in this game, I know its just a meme at this point but still.

I don't disagree but classes feeling terrible under level sync has been an issue for ages now, and it doesn't even seem to be a concern of their seeing how terrible reaper feels to play below 80.
I honestly would love if they took an update to do re-evaluate what skills go where on each class, as it currently doesn't even seem to be a problem that is on their radar.
That's true its a shame. It always makes you dread level syncing. All of the gap closers should be the same level in my opinion Plunge being locked at level 54 sucks for anything that is 50 and below lol. Imagine if Delirium gave 15% haste as well as halved the cost of EoS. Bonus if it extended Blood Weapon's duration. It would feel like an actual Delirium....
Now if EoS had a better flowing animation, kind of like the enshrouded strikes of the reaper, that'd be great indeed.
If we actually have MP management and Darkside management with like more MP options that don't grant Darkside time and we use them more regulary and not only in the small burst it would be really nice have a Delirium granting haste and free uses of MP skills, actuall mechanics on the job but right now having free MP usage or just 3 Bloodspiller will be equally empty and swallow specially since it wouln't change the hollow huge downtime the job suffers right now and would just make the burst even more busy for no reason.
What if Dark Arts Edge of Shadow healed you for like 400-600 potency? Rewarding you for playing defensively and using TBN properly. Would be cool if Dark Arts Flood of Shadow healed for each enemy hit too. Give some meaning to Dark Arts SE![]()
It'd be fine. I'm not sure it offers anything over any other recipient--Carve & Spit (let's say, 600), Bloodspiller (e.g., 300 each), etc.--but... sure?
