


Its been hilarious to watch people get excited over all the new skills being big potency attacks with 60% falloff on 2m cooldowns.I'll never understand why people focus so much on potencies going up. It doesn't matter to the gameplay in the slightest in vacuum, they will go "up" across the board and boss HP balanced so that trials and raids will take about as much as they do now. It really only matters in relation to other jobs (which will be kept in similar balance they are now, in a patch or two) and between the different abilities.
And even for the latter... Under the 120s-spend-all meta, you'll just use everything during burst without caring much about potency priority, so does it really make a difference how it's delegated between skills? As long as it doesn't create some silly meme-rotation situation.
