I have defended some aspects of ShB DRK in the past. So I will bite this bait.
My first reaction after watching Mr. Happy's videos of all of the tanks: "DRK better provide the top damage by a wide margin compared to the other tanks, because DRK isn't offering much beyond it's ShB build."
ENDTour DRK feels like to me the job isn't fully baked. I don't mind them using ShB DRK as the launching point... but they needed to launch upwards a bit farther than what they did.
The Delrium change I was OK with... they made those changes to PLD and WAR. Adding something to justify Salted Earth's existence was a good idea to start with... it just doing damage just seems "meh." Oblation looks like something that will just be up to soak up boss's auto's until a real CD will need to be used. The Enhanced Unmend to lower Plunge's CD is odd.
I honestly think TourEND DRKs' problem is the same as TourEND SCH's problem: the shield gameplay. I honestly think SE doesn't know how to balance jobs whose central gameplay element is around shielding. It feels like SE is too afraid to buff DRK due to how much shielding TBN provides on paper. Which is a shame, given that the other three tanks where given enhancements to their central gameplay elements. DRK's "shielding" gameplay did not get the same treatment.
The only defense of TourEND DRK is that at least the job is familiar.
