    Personally the biggest reason is that I see it as more of a sustain tool in group pulls. This is something Drk is lacking in comparison to other tanks. And given that they already make part of Drks 123 have a 300 potency heal is going to be reason enough they don't want to add it to CnS too. You know, because Drk are supposed to be all about the pain and living on the edge hoping the healer is ready for the living dead use and all instead.

    They only read data. They don't read their own forums.

    Kind of a red flag to say they didn't see it on the forums when both JP and NA sides of the forums have a 150+ Dark Knight topic each.

    It's a known fact they balance jobs around raids. So raid data is all that matters.

    I think the only way things really change is if dps and healers complain about DRK. I’m pretty sure the only threads they bother with are the dps.

    I completely agree, and I'm also kind of unsure why so many people want them uncoupled.....

    I mean not putting a heal on CnS after adding MP regen to AD is one hell of a stupid oversight, but let's be real, using AD on single targets was a literal waste of a button press, and having CnS in AoE was just to get MP, which AD does now. Putting them together felt like one of the very few GOOD things they did for EW.

    Thinking about it, I bet it's partially cause of the nostalgia for the old AD, without a recast timer and having an MP cost, people wanting them separated are probably still wishing or hoping for that to come back in some way and making them share a recast timer is essentially a nail in the coffin for those hopes. I see no other objective reason to decouple them, especially since we've already got so many other oGCDs to run through that even with little impact they still have faaar more then AD ever did on a single target.

    Honestly, just add cure potency to CnS, then also add it to Bloodspiller and Quietus. There are plenty of other changes I want for the DRK but just those two things will save it's sorry state in dungeon content. Fully decoupling AD and even reverting it to it's MP cost days will still result in the DRK just running out of MP without any reliable means to regen it fast enough, plus it would make Quietus pointless. It's simply not a good solution for anything objective.

    sadly that doesn't really surprise me with patch notes. Drk will excel better at single fight encounters but will lack the mob sustain part

    I just hate how they are going to use the "there is a plenty amount of DRK progresing in savage right now" to don't do anything on it, like if having top dps justifies to carry the worst gameplay design it has been imposed since SHB and ignore the fact that many of this raiders just care about numbers adventage and no gameplay design.

    The only thing that actually susprise me about all of this is no tank ajustments at all, PLD need a dps boost at least and get literally nothing is like mmmm ok looks like tanks don't deserve even minimun balance like that.

    I was running P3 just now to grab a helmet while I wait for my static to show up, and I had the good ol' "use Living Dead in a scenario where it was needed, healers don't notice until 4s left, get healed to 98% and die" meme, and this is the first time I've actually been mad about it.

    I just want an invuln that doesn't punish everyone involved in it. I get punished because I used it and I can contribute absolutely fucking nothing to the threshold. Healers get punished because they dumped resources into me but just not enough. DPS gets punished because they start getting slapped by autos because I died.
    Fucking hell man, I'm gonna have to prog on WAR, I'm so sick to death of this shit.

    If anything thats what bugged me the most, PLD has the easiest fixes of all the tank problems yet they didn't get anything.

    For a low effort potency buff patch, a class that needed it the most got passed over.
