To be honest it is more of a soft redesign/rebalancing than a buff that DRK needs.

I guess my question is, what are the chances of SE buffing up DRK before 7.0? If enough people complain, have they been known to balance/buff jobs between expansions?
Problem is you can buff up the potenices on whatever skills or make the tank the most important in the meta game but DRK's kit is still severly disjointed.
Shadowbringer being an OGC doesn't lend much variety in playstyle. It should've been a weaponskill; Salt and Darkness being an extension to Salted Earth is a step up but not enough to justify the lack of.. everything.
Only giving a tank defensive cooldowns doesn't make a tank compelling or interesting. Tanks just shouldn't play like DPS classes. Replacing it with Reaper that doesn't even come close to the same complexity was their try but alas, it failed one me.
We all know what they should do and it's to give DRK a very much needed rework but they already stated the 3.0 complexity isn't what they want. How about this SE. At least give us the illusion of meaningful gameplay? Oblation having 2 stacks with no additional resources is a joke. Or how about Enhanced Unmend and Enhanced Living Shadow? At least try making us think this job isn't on life support on copium.
Someone said we repeat the same talking points ad nauseam, however it's on them taking our feedback into consideration. Playing numbers should never factor in wether a job is worth redesigning or not. It's the same problem with designing jobs for newer players that didn't even care about them to begin with.
Someone on the GF stated the same, as to why you would even try to ruin pre-exisiting jobs to capture new players. Dark Knight being ruined is collateral damage to them; they themselves are DPS oriented developers and they're not going to give us what we want unless we make it perfectly clear to them. Not leveling DRK was an idea of mine but it will hardly change the situation since people play for aesthetic alone.


I can imagine which it may be, but like, does it have data on total number of player ? Isn't it too niche of a sample to draw a trend over the majority of players ?



The sample size is around half million EX runs. I'm not a statistician but it's going to be pretty accurate.


Doesn't Quietus (under delirium) gives 200MP per target or something ?
But yeah originaly the 5GCD of BS were supposed to make up for us not using 2 Siphon Strike or something.
