who cares if it is stacking, or whatever people want to call it... If certain jobs are powerful when used together, it is only logical to use said jobs..

Who cares what classes/jobs are used... people are just using the tools that SE provides.. if it is too powerful it will be nerfed.

So either you see this game as a job and you have to have everything leveled or you agree with locking people out of content because they don't like playing the flavor of the month DD, that phrase has been used alot on Mysidia I wonder why could it be everyone sticks to the easy mode strats the first people to beat it use. 3 BLM and 2 BRD is class stacking because its essentially "everyone keep away except the tanks" in this sort of fight (where the mob isn't paticurlaly weak or resistant to magic, and weapon damage types don't do much if anything) you could swap those BLM for BRD and it would go the same.

Why werent you complaining about this when they released the original garuda promo video? It was blatantly obvious even then that the ranged damage attackers were the superior classes as far as efficiency in this fight goes.

Its really quite simple, if you are mad people class stack you can either A. not suck at your job so people want you to play whatever job your favorite job is, or B. Find a linkshell that would rather play their favorite jobs over going in with an optimal set up.

Whether or not the first kill had multiple classes or not is a moot point because just getting that original kill down and getting used to the mechanics is the first step to opening doors to other classes. I guarantee you within the weekend we are going to see a ton of videos with multiple classes in the party spring up because outside of paladin, as long as you have someone that is decent at their job and knows their role in a fight the classes are pretty balanced.

Well, it's not like SE has shown us they can create "hard" content, unless its in the form of something ridiculously absurd such as Absolute Virtue. The only reason why Ifrit took so long to kill was because of the terribad server structure and animation lag that plagued the instance and fight.

Well, it's not like SE has shown us they can create "hard" content, unless its in the form of something ridiculously absurd such as Absolute Virtue.

AV and PW weren't hard. Caturaes were hard in comparison, AV and PW have gimmics you have to get around. Nyzul Uncharted is hard in comparison. They can create hard content, but the thing is difficulty is subjective and you should know this.

Its the same stratagy whether its BLM or BRD RANGED ATTACK ONRY, unless your tanking, get one melee DD not designed for tanking in there and I would not say its class stacking, BG comes up with the same easy mode strats every patch, I have NEVER heard of you guys actually meleeing bosses, if there is a source that says other wise I will gladly take that comment back.

All I am asking is to stop encouraging locking most classes out of content, as I said I went 1-2 months doing nothing except trying to get a DH group on my LNC because "ogre will rape any melee dds" (actually said to me when it was release, when it was harder) this happened for that whole 1-2 months after that strat was locked down, and when everyone said people will experement with other setups and if I recall it was BG that used that strat, that is the main reason I am against using 2 of the 5 DDs.

Heres something try with BLM, BRD and 1 melee DD if you get a win with that I will think more of BG rather than every time I see the term BG I think "oh the guys that figured out easy mode.

BG may force you to lvl every job, they may force you to play something you don't like (the comments about me crying because I can't play DRG make this very clear, people that have said that don't seem to comprihend the concept of enjoyment) but that is not how I roll, if I want to play something I will, I just don't want to be locked out of content, can you understand that???
