why is this one so different from the other disciple of war sets?
only this one has the 1/2 skirt coattails thing that looks so unappealing to me on every set that has it.
I like the look of the top part of the coat and the pants for it, but the skirt thing covers the pants, so what is even the point?

I wish those coattail things could be hidden. :/

or that there was a glamour set that has the look of the striking/scouting/maiming sets but is usable by all, or at least by all disciples of war. like, maybe an achievement reward for collecting all the late allagan pvp items or something, and you get a glamour set for each of the different looks (aiming, magic, melee, tank)

Because it was designed by a fan, not SQEX.
It was a contest winner for designing tank gear.

ah. that would do it i guess, if the designer was different. still disappointing. anything not reasonably form fitting doesn't interest me...and that's like 1/3 the chest items in the game. :`(
