Changing 3 strikes/30 minute penalty system LEGITIMATELY! Here is the answer Dev's!

I couldn't Find an actual forum for "suggestions" and when you submit a ticket they tell you to come to the forums so exo-facto you can't. But my suggestion is, get rid of the 3 strikes and 30 minute penalty for MISSED QUEUES. Yes this is a ongoing issue and talk. Fact is people have lives and things pop up during a queue. Everyone here has missed a Queue before for one reason or another so I don't want to hear a single person with their lame, in-celibate comments about "don't be busy" or "don't have a life" etc. All The dev's have to do is get rid of what i just stated and simply change the system so when the person in queue happens to miss said queue then that person just gets skipped over, their registration gets canceled and the system goes looking for the next person in that role as normal. This system has been taking place in MMOs forever now so why the dev's haven't or cannot implement such a simple and long time used and proven system with all of their capabilities and resources is beyond me. And yes I know and we all know why they originally did it. Well here is the issue. You can't go around blanket penalizing people for things they didn't do and are probably never going to do such as join dungeons and troll people with deaths and never finishing the dungeon, etc. That's why there is reporting, vote-kicking and penalties for leaving the duty early ( at least for the first person to leave the duty). So Square Enix and the XIV dev's listen up! It is on all levels WRONG of you to pre-emptively blanket punish people for things they may or may never do! or for having things in daily life popup such as: the doorbell ringing, an important phone call or everyone's favorite.......USING THE BATHROOM! (and no, no one in their right reasonable mind is going to hold their urine or fecal matter for 15+ minutes when their bathroom is feet away! I've heard all the immature, moronic, in-celibate , unreasonable comments , suggestions and reasonings as to why its a good system. But at the end of the day anyone who agrees with pre-emptively blanket punishing people who have done no such trolling but all they did was miss a few Queues due to daily life occurrences or who agrees with blanket punishing people in general in life period is morally, ethically and principally foul!

I'll go ahead and assume you're not just trolling and give you the actual answer to this:

The system used to work as you've described here. And the result was people would troll the DF queue by queuing for something as a tank and then declining the queue.. over and over and over again. No kidding as a DPS player you could reasonably be in a position where you had to accept the queue pop 20+ times before actually starting the dungeon (sometimes only to have the tank instantly leave because they were just queuing their DPS friend). And that was after waiting up to half an hour for the privilege.

The current 3-strike system was a compromise. Sure, things happen. Sometimes you miss a queue due to circumstances beyond your control. The current system doesn't penalize you for this unless you do that 3 times within 24 hours. Honestly, if you're in a position where you're going to miss 3 queues within the scope of a day, you probably don't have time to play the dungeon either and should maybe do something else that isn't affecting other people.

No I'm not trolling and you shouldnt make assumptions, I have ALL the time to play and i have been playing for YEARS! And why did you have to go there with the victimhood garbage of "maybe do something that isn't effecting other people." Oh so me having to use the bathroom or other un-forseeable circumstances is just negatively effecting others lives?! The thing is I am not the only one by far who thinks the system needs an overhaul, it might have been done already if individuals such as yourself we'rent constantly pandering to the laziness of the dev's and making it seem as no one else has any knowledge of why the system is in place in the first place. IT NEEDS REVAMPED! FACE IT! GETOVER IT! IT WILL NEVER BE ACCEPTABLE OR TOLERABLE TO PUNISH ALL FOR A FEW! So developers/prorammers, stop being lazy and fix it and figure it out. We all know they CAN make it so what we have all been asking for can happen. They're all victims of ME because I miss queues?! Thats EXACTLY what you just said so dont try to worm your way out of it! Stop trying to look for ways to support a broken system and just face facts that its a broke system and that its a broken system that exists only in THIS game! No one should get a penalty for missing a queue. the system should just pass that person over and grab the next person waiting, its that easy and that simple! Its been done for decades in every other game! It hasnt been done here due to laziness on the dev's part and everyone knows it! You clearly didnt comprehend anything in my post because you would have realized i wasnt trolling or attempted to explain why the system was in place because I had already got done explaining I knew all of the above. So I am begging you, please learn to read slower, comprehend the sentences you are reading, then dont assume you know the person in whom you are speaking to, then lastly please dont make yourself and the rest of the players/world seem like victims! Victimhood mentality is what has this country and this world in the shape its in! Just face it! The penalty system is broken due to sheer laziness on the dev's part due to pre-emptive blanket punishing. Stop pandering!

Nope not a troll, just look at what you said. You need to read what you type before you post it. You seriously and literally, basically told me, "go find something else to do besides play FFXIV that you clearly pay for to play because real life situations are un-acceptable even though we all have them but i will attack you because you are standing up and talking about it!" Do you honestly think in your right mind that that that addresses the situation or helps the discussion?! No it doesnt.
