Could highlanders and elezen get a revamp? Show support!

All races but Miqo'te need a revamp, honestly.

Midlander: Animated like stiff robots in human skin. Female lack good faces.

Highlanders: No eyebrows. Share some of the stiff robotic issues of midlanders.

Elezen: Horrible walk/run animation. Female have tiny heads in large necks.

Roes: better face options would be nice

Au'ra: Goofy walk/run animation for males. Issues with horns/scales that are stuck to face choices. No muscle slider.

Hrothgar: Horrible walk/run animation. Can't wear most headgear. Need to fantasia to change between their ridiculously few hairstyles. No muscle slider.

Viera: Also have very limited hairstyle/options and can't wear most headgear.

Miqo'te: Cute/handsome. Best walk/run/idle/emote animations in the game. Lack of aesthetic/animation goofyness made them be picked by the majority.

And no one can say with a straight face that Miqo'te need anything. There is a reason why they're by far and large the most popular race if you ignore bots.

Edit: Aside from more facial hair options I don't think Lalas need anything either.

I would generally agree except maybe Roe. Their faces, imo, are okay, and what people would have more issues with would be their body type rather than their face. And even that is mostly just a matter of preference. I also think that Elezens's proportions are fine the way they are.

In case with Miqo'te, they would use a face texture update. Their markings are kind of low quality and a bit pixelated if you take a close up screenshot of your face. But to be fair the need of a HD textures applies to pretty much everyone so they're not unique here, it's just that additional marks on their skin make this need more noticable. Male Miqo'te also can have some issues with glamours because in some clothes they look chunky next to other races, but that's mainly in standard idle pose due to the position of their back, so it doesn't really need fixing.

I agree with a lot of this. I've tried most races and while I like them they certainly have some weird issues. Unfortunately, you will always be faced with people who pick unpopular races to feel unique and the last thing they want is for those races to become more popular.

Everyone knows elezen have really long necks..small heads, wider shoulders, long legs, its just a mess..

I mean that's kinda what makes elezen an elezen. Taking away these things rids them of their uniqueness and just makes them a hyur with pointy ears. If you are talking about gear and other stuff clipping, that happens to all races in this game.

Highlanders need more differentiating faces. Would be much appreciated.

The community was able to get somewhere with the male viera thread, so I'm wondering if we can do something similar here...

Apples and oranges here. Male viera was about having the devs honor a promise not to genderlock races anymore. The fight still continues with Hrothgirl even if no one wants to play one.

SE can start by giving all ARR races new faces, then animations and if we are lucky body type.

I prefer Highlander body and animation, but their faces doesnt look as good as midlanders. Lyse and Fordola are the only Highlanders that have good looking faces and their NPC.

If SE wants more players to play Highlander, give those races Raubahn, Cids, Lyse and Fordola's hairstyle and faces.

I agree. I would love to see highlanders with better face options for example EYEBROWS. Is it too much to ask? Two freaking lines on your upper face. I don't think it's too hard. Updates are definitely needed.

With my highlander boy I never strayed from the one face that I’ve used for years. I made his look around that one face, so I do think a little more diversity with their looks would be nice.
