Field Records: RNG or Grind?

Poor RNG should have some way of buying the reward after a fixed farm. The way extreme and savage loot works should be a model for everything. I already liked all the rewards available with clusters because I had a lot of work to do, but I knew exactly how much and roughly how long it would take me.

With Lyon 1 from Southern Front the main issue is the RNG, the timing to get in, and the sheer number of runs required to even make it viable. It just makes no sense at all just for a field record, and the thing is needed for an achievement reward mount. They need a pity system or something to make it at least feel like you are getting somewhere instead of gambling your life away.
