OK... I am sure I am not the only one complaining about this one in Bozjan.. But I just spent an entire FULL 3 hr instance waiting for ONE spawn of Absent Friends fate chain.. and it never did.. I don't even care about the rarity of the note(s) dropping, Sart is the only one I need from that god forsaken place, but the fact that I wasted 3 hrs of time just trying to get ONE run at Steel & Flame and ONE run at the duel.. yesterday was more of the same.. What a waste of time and I hate how you!! (the DEVS) are doing this to us to keep an illusion that the area is busy.. It is complete garbage! Please for the love of god make that fate chain available for us do on a more regular basis so we have a chance at getting this note from the fate or the duel... I am about to say F this place and screw the mount.. I don't need it that badly.. Keep the drop rate rare.. I am so fine with that aspect of it.. but 3 hrs of wasted time.. I had to pipe up about it... that was stupid and a complete waste of my time... I already spend money and time on this game the least you can do is allow us to play how we want and not hold us hostage because of a failing area that you all want to keep alive.. that place is busy enough without that crap happening.. anyways end of rant...

You do know you can kill mobs to decide which CE you want to pop right? I dont have the sheet at hand but i believe for north sector you have to kill about 20 Scorpion Mechs, then it will queue the CE "Metal Fox Chaos" into the area.

Imagine it like this.

Bottom kills 20x Machine to pop CE > their their the first so it pops straight
You kill 20x Scorpion in North > Your CE will pop when the bottom one is finished

this way you can pretty much ensure that your fate pops once per hour, i found this out the hard way as i too was waiting 3h for the exact same one, cept i went to dr. google, learned and popped it and kept instance jumping till i had my drop 3h later.

Rants are fine just remember nothing in Bozja is random, every single CE has a mob trigger and YOU can decide which one spawns, ALL jobs can at least solo mobs, if not pull 3. If you pull 3 a time and considering they pop once a min you can yourself add Metal Fox Chaos and its pre fates "in absence of friends" and "Steel and Flame" to the queue in 10min.

Or you wait for 3h hoping someone else knows this.

This is also why ppl pull in mobs during fates (besides the cluster thing) it just helps to pop more CE.

That FATE chain doesn't spawn naturally; it must be manually spawned by killing 4th legion scorpions in the north zone. Coincidentally, there's a bunch of Scorpions right near the fate spawn zone you can use.

If no one is killing those mobs, you'll be waiting forever. If you want it to spawn and see no others working towards spawning it, grab your best essence & lost actions for damage and start zerging the scorpions.

Yes i do realize this and we had groups killing scorpions.. the whole time.. it never spawned. ever.. you tell me now how this supposed mechanic works.. because the day before I had more of the same and I was lucky to get it 3 times in like 6 hours give or take.. that is insane.. it is a true waste of time.. I have been farming this ONE fate for weeks now.. this is beyond stupid imo and many others I see all the time doing the same exact thing.. getting no results as far as the farming goes..

The only way this is true is if you hit a instance, in which every single CEs requirement was hit just before yours (very very unlikely). Im pretty confident in this because i did hunt all duels till i won them and was able to spawn the fates i wanted very fast and kept instance jumping when everything was on cooldown.

nah, i’ve had that specific fate take 2-3 hours before even while killing the scorpions the entire time. i believe them tbh.

I know it's a small sample size but I don't think it's that uncommon since I had it happen to me twice in the span of a week. Cluster farmers always end up spawning all the other CE chains and there is nothing you can really do about it.

In addition to killing scorpions, someone also needs to complete Unrest for the Wicked, Help Wanted, and Pyromancer. Just killing scorpions will not spawn it. And you also need to hope that more scorpions are killed than 4th Legion Armored Weapons or you end up with the Mechanical Man chain instead of FAF chain

Ever since the changes to how CEs spawn in Bozja the zone 3 CEs are a complete rarity. Metal Fox Chaos is the most common one to spawn mostly because people intentionally grind for it due to the 2 rare notes associated with it, but in 5 days of Bozja of staying in an instance for 60-90 minutes I think I've only seen Where Strode the Behemoth only once.
