Starting a New Character in a Different World

I wanted to start a new character in order to take advantage of the additional retainers I would have. I already have three characters and they are all in Goblin and all members of the same FC which I started two or three months ago.

When I go to create a new character I am not allowed to start him in Goblin because the server is already too crowded. If I start him in another world, will I still be able to join the FC in Goblin so that I will be able to transfer items from one character to another?

Try at low-traffic times of day. Unless the server is hard locked, then you're SOL.

As others have said, no.

Character creation restrictions are updated every few hours as long as the world status isn't Congested. Save the character appearance data then keep trying until you can select Goblin.

You can't join your FC on a different world but you can make a new character just for fun. I have a dozen alts or so myself just to play around with different aesthetics. It's what keeps me from using fantasias constantly and if a look really strikes me I will then fantasia my main.

.....I mean said alts are usually abandoned well before level 50, almost never make it out of ARR and are made exclusively on preferred servers to speed level... So....
