They tied Story&Hard boss twice.

The first time with Coil of Bahamut, the difficulty was between normal and savage. Many complained because they couldn't enjoy the story.
The second time with Shinryu, same story many complaints about it being "too hard, put the spoon in my mouth please".

Harder story? Harder fight? Yes. I was a scrub when I started the game and struggled to do basic thing. Yet the content resisting to players was really satisfying to beat.
MSQ trials such as Thordan should not exist, Hades felt extremely weak aswell.

But you would have people complaining that it's too hard.
