Game crashes on start of MSQ cutscene

I've scoured the internet and these forums. I've tried everything. On two different characters this has happened. I cant make a third and run through ARR again, I dont have the patience. Everytime i load the same quest on one character that starts the Heavensward questline, the game crashes with an unexpected error(17). same thing happens with a quest later in MSQ on another character in heavensward. Every time it loads the cutscene for the quest, it crashes. I've reinstalled the game twice, idk how many times i've reinstalled the drivers. started it with no other programs running, turned off all of my overlays, changed directx, changed graphics, and resolutions. Im out of options. I've sent in two tickets with no response back. The character in heavensward has had this issue for over a month and now this newer character has had it for about a week. I love playing this game but I literally cant progress anymore. I'm about ready to end the subscription and move on.

Good morning and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums

Could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
Does this issue occur if the game is installed on the C drive? If you have not done so, could you try and reinstall the game on the C drive?
