Thread: 5.57 patch notes! They did it!

It would've been nice if they also changed the drop rate of timeworn artifacts in PotD, since it's extremely low and not consistent across party members, but oh well.

Mettle is only useless when you get all the buffs. It's useful in ALL Bozja content. CLL, DR, and Dal all go faster when you see several people with high or even 10/10/10 in there.
On Dal however, I see your point if you are working on more then one relic. You can just run DR for one and get the clusters at the same time. And getting mettle for the buffs is faster going around to each skirmish and CE (especially if you have the mettle buff for someone beating a duel).

Saying mettle is worthless is like saying essences and lost actions are worthless. Nowadays if you go into DR/Dilra/CL without Honors while being rank 25, you're almost asking for a carry.

It might be just me, but it seems like the Raid damage in Dalriada has remained pretty consistent even with the mettle bonuses or maybe I'm blind, I just don't feel like any of us have gotten stronger.

Or maybe I need to wait till everyone is at least Mettle 10/10/10, right now I'm Valor 7 with all the lost actions I need to use as a Melee DPS, the highest damage I ever managed to pull off was 130k+ (Dragoon buffs for the win! + Duelist + Honored Sacrifice + Font of Power) in DR and I imagine it will go slightly higher when I reach Valor 10 but yet no matter how much I try to pull my weight that it still doesn't make a difference if nobody else is trying to put in that effort.

There was only one DR I did notice it went faster than usual, but just once.

You only need the 10 buff to DPS to make CLL,DR and Dal go faster.

Yes but often two hours to spawn a skirmish for note 14 at a miserable shot at the note is a bit much. That's not to say I haven't gotten it on my main and some alts. Yep Note 14 is horrendous I just went into BSF for almost 2 hours doing nothing but trying to get it to spawn and nothing happened. A fresh instance down to 45 minutes and nothing. People weren't staying around either. I understand it being a Rare item but I've gotten everyother note as well. Not to mention if you don't get it from the Fate and you try to do the 1v1 you have to hope you get picked for the fight and with 1/?? chance of who gets to do the 1v1 its like good luck. I think they should honestly just allow it for a chance to drop albiet low but maybe to Pyromancer Extreme as well? But ya I understand My rate for getting it is stupid low as well.

agreed. The RNG is horrendous. I am surprised they did nothing to do Sartauvoir's.

Would help if they at least added it to the CE Metal Fox as well so if you don't get it in the skirmish you have another shot at it with the critical encounter.
