I'm pretty sure you got the mentor roulette mixed up with the regular ones.DR:Mentor is the "Game, put me where you need me," button. It's an "I don't need anything specific myself, so let's see what other people are running," button. It's even a button I'm willing to press ten or more times a day for no reward, as the achievement tracker stopped counting my runs years ago.
But it's not an "I'm willing to commit myself to 45 minutes of Praetorium cutscenes" button (there is DR:MainScenario for that) and it's not an "I'm willing to explain the mechanics for an entire extreme trial from the point of view of each of the four roles so that people who don't know how to extreme can complete a trial within the hour" button. It's ludicrous to think anyone should be compelled to stay for either of those things, nor should they be held hostage for the fifteen minute lock on Vote Abandon. If they want to leave and eat the 30 minute general duty penalty, let them.

Until we can queue up for several roulettes at the same time, no
And regardless, people are free to pick and choose what they will run or not, and if they want to leave, they get a penalty, it's true for every single roulette, MR inculded.

im baby

You're not listening.I'm relatively sure nobody runs the roulette for absolutely nothing. There are bonus tomestones and if you really wanted to run any other content at random you can pick another roulette.
You're still considering the point (at least partially) of the roulette here to be what the mentor gets out of it.
Error 3102 Club, Order of the 52nd Hour

.. My entire point is you are not talking to me, you are talking at me about things I didn't ask.
The achievement tracker isn't the only reward, instances most of the time have their own rewards as well.
Running nitpicky mentor roulette when you're aware of what it entails along with the other roulettes existing with not those things in them is the most tenuous position ever for asking for them not to reinforce what mentor roulette was meant for in the first place.

But it kinda is. Have you read the description on what SE sees Mentors as? I'm sure you can find it on Google somewhere ... hmmm ...DR:Mentor is the "Game, put me where you need me," button. What is a Mentor
Mentors are veteran players who chose to offer their time and experience to help guide new adventurers. To facilitate their assistance, mentors will gain access to a special chat channel as well as a means to easily register for duties and trials with new players.
As a mentor you are expected to actively perform the following:
1. Provide gameplay advice for new adventurers and other players.
2. Be an exemplar for player etiquette.
3. Invite new adventurers to the Novice Network and answer their queries in the chat channe
I'd only be ok with this if EX trials were removed from the roulette (which I think they ought to be, anyway)
I can guarantee you that a good chunk of the mentors who get placed into an EX trial aren't even able to "mentor" how to do it at its original level, because they only got their clear via Undersized Party later on (possibly specifically because re-unlocking the mentor roulette requires all previous xpac EX trials to be done) and don't actually know anything about the DDR/mechanics required -- that or it's been so long since they've even ran the content that they may not even remember the fights anymore. Not true for everyone certainly, but I'm sure there are a lot that fall under this category.
Can't vote abandon for 15 minutes. Takes way too long.that should be done through abandon vote, not instantly leaving without saying anything
Helping primarily newer players with queues/directions for beginning/storyline content. Not rehashed optional fights that are obviously meant more for veteran players anyway. For what reason do you (people who run mentor roulettes, not DF EX's) think they are for?

ROFL "see achievements list" it shows the rewards in game. Good luck though on using DF for EX trials. My return question is why is PF so hard to use since there is also an UNSYNC option and bam you got a clear people do many of these every week for WT completions.

So.. your answer is it exists to give rewards? Because I'm going to refute that pretty hard. It has rewards to encourage people to DO it.. but they didn't put it in the game because they needed some way of gating a certain reward.

Still did not answer my question about PF, I know when I am being trolled. ROFL apparently its is hard. /walksawaylaughing
