The key point there is what they want. Due to the way they design the housing system, there is a limited availability. So regardless of what they want, they need a way to increase the availability, including making sure people just don't buy a house then stop playing the game, leaving the house unavailable to others but also unused by the owner..
Or yknow, they could just address the system entirely. I get you want to keep defending them on this topic, but there’s no reason to. It’s been 6 years and they haven’t addressed it once. That’s incredibly lazy and poor dev management. It’s funny though, they didn’t care much about availability back when people were owning entire wards hm?(and still do). Why don’t they do something about that?It is a contradiction of his message. Just because we have the choice to sub or unsub doesn’t change that. His entire point is he doesn’t want people to *feel* tied to the game. Housing does exactly that. The housing system sucks. End of story.
