[FEEDBACK] GM Tirmeinoss, why are you lying to me?

Hello. I was told to bring my issue over here, so I have.

I recently had an encounter with GM Tirmeinoss. I had opened a ticket for something crawling under the ground for a while now, with seemingly nothing to happen. When I eventually got a GM's assistance on the matter, however, they seemed pushy against any help. I asked them for just a small favor, to please go look under me and see if it's there.



And then, you directly lie to me. You say it's not down there, while I'm targeting it. I can clearly tell it's down there, and you lie to me, to defend what's been teleporting down there repeatedly for months.

Is this normal? have all my other reports just been the gm lying that they'll do something? I can't tell what's the expected or not anymore, and it's really really making me uncomfortable. Please tell me why you lied to me, right to my face about what's going on.

They're prob not even on the same map as you so of course they can't see them

If it’s a bot the game GMe can’t do anything about them. Don’t worry you did see a bot teleporting and moving under the game world

You should just report bots like this via the "report cheating" option on the support desk, because as mentioned, the GMs have no actual power to deal with them...or rather, they're not allowed to deal with them as it's required for them to undergo a screening process via certain "tools" only the STF has access to (Which still only ever results in punishment against painfully obvious offenders like the hacker in question).

They won't usually allow hackers like this to exist for long...though a replacement always shows up swiftly as it's only there to transfer treasure maps to the map farming bots.

They seem woefully unwilling to link illicit activity between different accounts and will only ever punish the individual rather then the collective even if it's painfully obvious they're working together.

Then he lied and said they weren't even under there, when you can tell they were because I had them targeted. T_T I just wanna know why he'd lie about that, but he kept avoiding that too.

If someone is under the floor, it's usually (but not always) because of third party program usage. They did the correct thing, which was to tell you they would begin an investigation into third party program usage.

Just because you can target them from where you are standing doesn't mean they were able to, and your ticket was not ignored because the investigation was started.

The entire Botting topic looks to me as something Squeenix deems as a "necessary evil". They do get banned apparently within certain intervals, but since it takes long enough for said botters to make adjustments about it, all that's going to happen is Squeenix shooting down dummies while the goods get transfered to a "totally legit" account that doesnt get tracked at all (which serves as both storage and distribution option). Those characters are the ones which live the NEET life inside their small houses (and 9 person FC) with one job at lvl 80, all crafters maxed out and never leaving the house or apartment, ever.

Said Bots also have a trenendous influence on the Marketboard. I even dare to say that they are one, if not THE reason why we have such a stable economy compared to most MMOs out there (at the cost of people having a hard time selling stuff/making profit).
