Steps:
1. The Bozja field notes are expected to have a very low drop rate due to the rarity of some of the notes and the novelty of the collectible mount. However, something doesn't seem right, as we've had groups of people for days (anecdotally weeks) who are struggling for single drops even when Fates/CEs are spawned.

2. To add to this, in order to have a chance at a rare note, the CE order of the instance must automatically load a specific Fate/CE, which can take upwards of 90+ minutes to spawn without player assistance.

3. With points 1+2, with a note drop rate of <1% (this seems akin to Atma drop rates in 2013 before drop rate increases), players are not only struggling for single note drops, but they are also working to spawn instances for upwards of 90 minutes of time, and even when a duel is an option for one of the notes, the player cannot receive any vulnerability stacks and deal with competing with others with similar notoriety for a chance a duel, adding a third layer of random sequencing.

4. If this is working as intended, awesome. But I think this needs to be reviewed, as we've encountered a similar situation with the E12N triple triad card where it was confirmed that there was an issue with the drop rates. I firmly do not believe that the drop rates were artificially set to unobtainable lows to keep the content relevant for 6 months until Endwalker.

Its nothing like atma, in atma i can do any fate i want in 1 zone, here im stuck i need to wait hours for one fate to pop and if i miss it for any reason i need to wait all over again and plz no one says duel coz i waited 4 turns for me to enter and i died in the end

i want to know if this is working as intended too. i have been farming Dyunbu, Sartauvoir, and Lyon for several hours a day for the last week and to not get even 1 note from any of them makes me wonder if there is something going on.

I got Dyunbu's note yesterday from Absent Friends, but I ran about 13-14 Castrums over the last week and never saw Lyon's. I'm guessing random is just being random, though I do feel that these things should have their drop rates increased.

frankly they need to dramatically increase the drop rate for Dyunbu. She has no right to be so stingy with her field note drops considering she doesn't have a 1v1 duel where it's 100% guaranteed if you succeed like Lyon, or Sartauvoir, or Dabog

For being a rank 2 field note, Meryall doesn't seem to even drop at the Dalriada.
Also can anyone confirm if Diablo Armament field note is a 100% drop on the final chest? Honestly i am judging drop rate through ranks and DA (rank 3) always dropped it for me while Meryall not a single run

Confirmed, it's a 100% drop rate. Anecdotally, the others have not dropped for me in many, many runs. This is part of my concern.

I looted Sartauvoir the other day on my alt from Help Wanted or the one after it, and Lyon from Castrum.

All the ones in Zadnor were easy to get except Lyon so far. I got Meryall from one of the skirmishes.

The bug report isn't that it's not dropping - that was addressed. It's that the complexity of the chance of a drop is compounded by multiple factors of RNG, and an already low rate of <1% is made even worse due to other requirements.

exactly this. you need only look at https://ffxivcollect.com/records to see that there is a massive discrepancy between a few very specific field notes and all the rest.
