Laucher login field takes a long time to appear after moving to another drive

I moved the entire \SquareEnix folder to a new drive I bought and it worked fine the first time I launched it. Everything was as fast as usual. However now when I run the laucher, the log in area takes over a minute to appear. When I do log in the play or launch button also takes a while to appear as well. I wanted to avoid reinstalling it completely if possible. Not sure if anyone knows why this would happen. It must have to do with me moving it to my new drive. If anyone can help I would be very grateful.

I'm not sure if this is because of you moving it to another drive or not... I was playing earlier this morning as normal... after a break I am experiencing the same issue logging in.

I am experiencing this issue as well as of today. Yesterday, it worked just fine.

EDIT: I have found a solution that worked for me. Change your launcher layout to the old version by going in to your launcher settings, select "change layout", your launcher should restart as the old layout and should be able to log in.

Try switching to the old layout (Under settings, last option). I couldn't log in until I switched to the old layout.

(And I just tried switching back to the normal one, issue is still there).

pretty sure it isn't a drive issue. The login field took forever to load and even the play button didn't come up. Must be something wrong with the launcher.

It took some moments but I have registered to attempt assisting! Because I juuust got this stoopid bug yesterday. Who knew I had to click the tiny star on my character to select it instead of a confirm character button... anyways!

I believe after some testing most extensive that this is a udp forwarding issue with Square's launcher claiming udp ports for your local ip within the router but never releasing them.

Restarting the pc did not fix.
Purging all forms of temporary cache files did not fix within Internet Explorer (because apparently it uses IE?).
Clearing the temp windows folder was a big ol failure.

However! Restarting my router relieved me of my endless no play button issue and inability to log in using Exitlag. Most amusing is I checked the udp forwarding feature of my router and nadda. There were no claimed ports. What ever Square changed with the launcher is clearly effecting others now though if past experience means anything it will not be fixed in timely way.

I hope this actually works and was not false equivocation. Do update this if it does! I wish to know in case it occurs again. Right after my pre-order too..
