AST: The Knave of Hearts

So I understand that the lore book explains that AST’s deck of 60 contains the Knave. Now, we haven’t seen the Knave as a card yet, but we do have the Lord and the Lady of Crowns. Could it be possible that AST will finally see this card in its level 90 cap?

I know the boss from the Neir is raid is one thing, but could it be foreshadowing this as an AST ability?

I’d rather see Astro be able to summon a celestial being. Maybe one of the old gods to buff or heal. Would be neat.

Oo, I know this one! Hearts is about emotion and intuition, and Knave (also called Page) of Hearts is usually about new ideas, possibilities, and curiosity.

Now with that out of the way....lol @ them using actual job lore to inform design. But who knows?

The Knave is a male servant to a King. It can also be used to describe someone tricky or deceptive. It’s the Page in Tarot and the Jack in a deck of playing cards. Honestly one of the real reasons I brought this up is because I’m a huge fan of Kingdom Hearts. I’m doing a mega video on the subject of the Master of Masters, and well my conclusions are leading me to consider him a Knave of Hearts. The research got even more uncanny when I remembered this is in the deck of 60, and we have the boss in the Neir raid.

I’m not sure what the card it self would do for an AST for I honestly hope we get it in the 90 cap. AST needs to go back to its lore roots.

I think was would really fun! A theory (SPOILER): when we play as — during the most recent MSQ, his Lord and Lady of Crowns are the old version. What if we got those back, and they added the Knave of Hearts, a card that might debuff, or be like our current iteration of L/L of Crowns?

Why assume Hearts? If we see a Knave card it will likely be Crowns like the other two.

Having checked the lorebook, Hearts isn't even a standard suit but an alternative to the Cups suit, though the example cards merge the two ideas and show goblets with a heart motif.
