But if thats not the issue then it probably comes down to computer specs, had a friend trying to play on a laptop that couldn't do anything because his pc couldn't handle the game.. sadly ffxiv has a lot more requirements then most other mmo's out there.
If you're able to consider upgrading your graphics card, get some more ram, and make sure your cpu is up to snuff, i know that is a lot of money and basically saying get a new computer, but sadly its the only thing that fixed it for me.
Not the OP, but I'm on a wired connection on a brand new $5500 custom built gaming PC. It ain't that. Connections to the SE data center are getting metered on certain ISPs (see the giant thread on the 90002 errors.) Charter Spectrum has been having this issue for weeks now, but it's also happened on Comcast in the past. There's nothing that the end consumer can do about it - it's up to SE as the business class client to fight on our behalf to fix the issue.
