I would be flattered if there was a veritable army of Caurs running around.

La normalité n'est que la moyenne de nos folies individuelles.
Normality is just an average. I'm the weird, you're the bizarre.
The longer you're on the internet and in the world, the more likely it becomes that you run into other people using your made up name(s).
Before I made Vicious, I had the name Vyre. In XIV it's Vyre Vahzl. It was my Runescape name back in 2002, and an elongated version, Vyrerus too. I was Vyre on Asura in FFXI. I'd been using it as a fantasy name since Breath of Fire II in the mid-late 90s. Lotta people think I got it from the Dark Adonis, Vyers, from Disgaea (Love him, but no).
So I've been Vyre for about 25 years. It's even in my email addresses.
Nowadays there's tons of people with it as a first or last name. There's the Vyrewatch in Runescape. There's some black metal band named VYRE. There's a business association. There's all sorts of stuff with what I thought was mine, just all over the place. Recently in some famous novelist's work, he made some guy change his name to Vyre. Stormlight Archive, I guess?
It's always a trip.

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore
I made a character called Saefinn Liljasdottir. I wanted something Scandinavian, 'Saefinn' is an Icelandic name and the the surname is of course "daughter of Lilja" the Lilja part I made up on the spot because it sounded Icelandic and it didn't come from anywhere. Then the devs added a Lilja to the game, when I first encountered her my reaction was "....mum?" Even better because I had made the character a Viera.
As for copycats, if the same everything else is consistent, that is weird. Make an enemies lately? Go Mandeville dance your other you, assert dominance.

Very doubtful it's a bot considering they took a separate DC, don't have any DoH/DoL leveled and are not part of a botting ring Retainer FC. It would also make no sense to go to the trouble of making a clone for an RMT spammer, since those inevitably get banned and are temporary characters, hence the nonsense or character generator names.
The most likely situation is that someone liked how your character looked and made a test alt for potential fantasia purposes.
Every once in a while I'll see accounts with my name on random sites/games, which blow my mind because I completely made Keramory up in like 6th grade. I just can't imagine someone would see this name and say to themselves they have to have it. GL even pronouncing it how my 6th grade self intended it to be pronounced.
Also odd my wife had a similar scenario, recently found the same thing happen to her. But only after she had a slight little glimpse of fame in a particular community doing social media.
