    Were any updates or changes made to the PC? In addition, does the issue still occur if the game is reinstalled? Is there an error message received in addition to the black screen?

    No updates other than regular graphical driver/windows updates. I have uninstalled and reinstalled mulitple times. I also found a thread where someone uninstalled and erased all game files that were in my documents. I tried that and still have no luck. I have gotten a script error one time but most of the time it either just gets stuck waiting for loading or just closes by itself with no message.
