    Discount icon blinks on and off

    While I am in game I will get the discount icon blinking on then off for a sec 1 or 2 times a minute. Then I will lose connection to the server randomly every 30 minutes to an hour. My internet connection is perfect on both wifi and wired. If I restart my pc it fixes this and I can play for hours no issues. But if I log out of the game and log back in it will do it again unless I restart my pc again. My roommate plays with no issues 10 feet from me. It's not our internet. I have also reinstalled the game on a new drive and still get the same issue. Has anyone had this happen or know a fix. Don't like restarting my pc every time I want to play

    I will try and log into the game from my roommates pc and see if I get the same results

    its only on my PC I logged in on a friends PC and it was fine same internet. I did a dns flush, I manually added the tcp ports and added every ffxiv file into the firewall list, I turned off the firewall, checked for windows updates driver updates uninstalled the game reinstalled on to a new drive checked for viruses turned off any and all antivirus went from wired ethernet to wifi and it still happens. if I restart my PC I can play fine for hours. the second I log out of the game I get a disconnect icon blinking when I log back in and the time in game starts to go ahead of my local time every time it blinks it goes ahead in time about just under a minute when game time get about 10 to 15 minutes ahead of local (game time says 5:15 real local time is 5:00) they were the same when I logged in. I will disconnect from sever and get error code 90007. oh and every other game on my PC works fine wow, heroes, COD, starcraft, conan exiles, cyberpunk,

    Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    We apologize for the delay in our response, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

    - The game will use the Internet Explorer web browser to connect to the internet. Open Internet Explorer, then open the "Tools" setting, go to "Internet Options" and adjust the following settings:
    - Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
    - Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
    - Under the "Privacy" tab, click “Advanced” and select ‘Accept’ under both First Party and Third Party Cookies.
    - Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
    - Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED. [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
    - Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.
    - Please RESTART your PC now. Once your PC has been restarted, Right-Click the FFXIV launcher icon once more and select "Run as Administrator"

    -Try disabling background applications and do a clean boot by opening the task manager and selecting the “Start up” tab. Disable everything and then restart the PC.

    and it didn't work....I dont know what else to do. none of this makes sense why would restarting my pc let me play fine but if I log out I will have this problem when I log back into the game untill I restart my pc again. oh and I can restart my pc and not log in the game for hours and it will still be fine. its only when I log out and back in the only thing I see left to do is a fresh windows install and game install. that will take hours

    ok I gave this Internet Explorer thing a try, I hope it works. I didn't even have Internet Explorer enabled on my PC I had to go find it and reenable it. now I just got to give it some time to see if the fix worked
