    Adjustments to Job Artifact Attributes

    In light of the new enmity adjustments to materia, coupled with the new equipment from patch 1.22 that increases (or reduces) enmity in double digit values, I feel it is important that we make similar adjustments to enmity for our job artifacts all around.

    Our job artifacts are of a unique design that was drawn from scratch using the toil and sweat of our game's developers (remember those early concept drawings?), and deserve a chance to see competitive use with current and upcoming equipment. As this petition is being written, a lot of individuals both on the forum and within the game have expressed disappointment with the overall value of their job artifacts that they worked so hard to obtain.

    For example, the combined enmity of all five paladin job artifacts is less than even one piece of equipment affixed with either Touch of Rage III or IV materia. Whether our job artifacts will see increases to enmity, or decreases by adding all-new values to, say, Choral and Healer sets, will ultimately rest with the development team, per review. And I am not suggesting that this balancing and change be limited to just enmity. But I believe, however, that any change will benefit and prolong the use of these items of great heritage.

    I remember only spending a week for all AF, they are viable gear but shouldnt be the best.

    I completely agree with the OP. The basic idea for AF armor has always been, in my mind, for it to be like a model of the way gear can complement your specific job. And as a model, AF here fails somewhat. Enmity, in the case of PLD, is one of two or three stats that I wish the different sets would see more of.

    I wish, even before the introduction of AF 2, or Relics, etc., the developers would improve our relationship with this gear by introducing a series of quests through which, just as Jobs get modified, fine-tuned, buffed, and/or nerfed, your set gets attuned to the needs of each job with the (one-time only) addition of special, rare AF materia.

    Not to AF no. They did mention we'll be able to upgrade AF sooner or later. Another example of them needing to look at what they did with FFXI and make it better here, I mean..PLD Empyrean armor is probably one of the most finely tuned AF sets to ever come out for that job..occasionally absorbing TP/Nuke damage? That not only negates enmity loss but it boosts enmity due to being healed by the damage.

    Most armor sets aren't even on the 'double meld' that it was stated to be...while some of the 'enhance' stats like enhanced invigorate is nice, overall it's pretty "eh" not bad but not that great. Though given how the real determining factor in anything is your level vs enemy level, it doesn't matter too much.

    I agree, although as others have mentioned AF should not be the best in slot... nor is it for that matter ... nor is that what the OP is suggesting.

    But yea increase the enmity values in line with the recent changes to materia.

    All you need is a Wardrobe System, that is it. It isn't any trouble to apply this in 2.0 and lets people be creative and unique with their character design instead of everyone coming in and looking like the same thing. This is FF and some people will go about having Looks > Stats, and this would solve the issue and give you both.
