I’m reacting the way I am because I’m upset that someone would have conversations with me in which I am perfectly willing to provide context when necessary, and then turn around and assume that I’m trying to smear them when I talk to someone else about something else that is only vaguely and tangentially related. I don’t need to provide a dissertation - I left the quote with the link on it for a reason.

I’m reacting the way I am because I thought you were better than that, and I’m upset that you would repeatedly call to question my character and motives when there were no motives.

You edited the post rather than posting it unabridged (as it is a quote from a different thread), and then added commentary. What did you expect would happen?
