The biggest issue people have is assuming. Never assume. Stop assuming! It does nothing for you nor the company! In any capacity!

At any time, SE can change anything in any aspect of the game or ToS whenever they want. They did their part by giving a warning about the tomes being useless past the cut-off date. Just because other Moogle tome events left the moogle in for a time after, does not mean they are obligated to do this nor will always do this. This was also a special event specifically for Fanfest.

This is not white knighting, this is literally telling people to stop assuming and stomping their feet because they didn't take it upon themselves to read something that SE did what they could to inform people about.

Seriously, I feel like I'm at work right now trying to explain something this basic to people in a thread on the forums started by a known troll. I deal with this kind of petulance and lack of self responsibility every day and boy, I can tell you - SE ain't the one at fault here. Not by a long shot lmao.
