This isnt WOW and the dev team dont do anything by halves..I am positive they are WELL AWARE of the old content and old savages / mount collectors etc.

DF is going to get worse, given when I get a trial that takes more than unga bunga gorilla brain it tends to be abysmally bad. Worse than when the content was new. See a9n.

I wouldn't mind seeing some changes to discourage the practice. For example, making it so that savage mounts do not drop when the content is unsynced might be a fun idea. Let them get their glams, but the fancy mounts are reserved for people who do it synced.

That'd just alienate other folks that continue to run it after they get their glamours.

I personally know someone in world of warcraft that's been running the same level 80 raid for over 5 years for a mount.

Every week they clear. Sometimes on multiple characters. More often than not on multiple characters now that i think of it.

Meanwhile another friend got it his first run. RNG and all.

What you're asking for us for people to stop running content solo. I know a LOT of people in MMOs that only do content solo. All your suggestion would do, is reduce the amount of stuff for people to do.

And before you ask, no, i don't farm savages for mounts.

If stats is getting to high and breaking the game. Maybe they need to upgrade the engine or bring out a whole new final fantasy game like pso2 just did. I can see them making some content impossible to do from squishing stats.
