Controversial take: Remove Gunnhildr's Blade titles from everyone and fix the exploit

In an ideal world Square Enix will remove the titles from those who cheesed the duels by entering after getting buffs on a dummy. That is an exploit because you couldn't otherwise get buffs on you if you entered the encounter normally. But I have a feeling that Square Enix cannot differentiate those who cheesed the duels and those who did not.

Finishing the fight in one and a half minute or less, thereby skipping most of the mechanics does not show skill. Even if you entered the duel with Ordained caster without pre-applying buffs like Chainspell that could otherwise not be applied without the exploit, you would still have to deal with quite a few of the mechanics. This is at the level of Ungarmax exploits and it's sad that Square Enix is not doing anything about it, therefore completely diluting the prestige of the title. Even the Sword of the South title is retroactively diluted because you can do the same in the old duels. They banned people who used Ungarmax in UCOB. I don't want to see bans being handed out but at the very least the exploit should be fixed. Removing the titles from those who used the exploit would be better but I doubt SE would do so. So please at least fix the exploit.

Those titles were always worthless anyway, and here's why: The only thing it indicates is that someone spent WAY too much time grinding bozja.

At least with other fights, you aren't completely at the mercy of RNG to even get a chance to work on clearing. Clearing them is just a matter of going into the fight and practicing until you get it down, but the duels don't even let you in unless you hit the lottery. They are a great idea with some of the worst execution I've ever seen, and both the duels themselves and bozja as a whole have suffered for it.

Basically, great stuff for streamers who need mindless grinding to fill up the game time, terrible for people with jobs and lives and other things to do. Just like DR savage, seems like a real pattern here emerging unfortunately.

Whether it is or not the exploit should be fixed. I've witnessed duels that end in less than a minute. Cheating shouldn't be tolerated and the exploit needs to be dealt with.

They should just remove duels entirely. Who needs solo content in an MMO? People just end up getting mad at each other for getting picked for the duel and/or cheesing the duel, and this only breeds toxicity in the community. We'd be better off without any duels.
