A person's job is determined by its clientele's needs. You are a bartender because your clientele wants a drink after work. You don't open a bar 9-5 because that is what is convenient for you as a business owner, you open 5-2 because that is when you have paying customers.

Exactly, because that is when they know to do business. But that's totally different. The service we pay for is availavle 24 hours a week, 7 days a week, with the only exception of maintenance. So really yours is a terrible analogy. Try construction workers working on a freeway. When do they work? Fucking primetime, when they do the most damage. THAT'S frustrating as hell and in the real world, but we have to suck it up because that's how shit is.

SE is doing what they do you keep their consumers. A business listening to their consumer's requests is NEVER a charity. It can make or break a business or a production. This can be adapted into any aspect of business whether you are a small business or corporation. The difference is, a corporation is big enough to withstand a loss in one area, to be gain in another.

Yes it is. But it's also being smart. The point of what I said is that this is not a democracy. It's not a form of government. It's a private corporations that can decide to do anything with their products and we have two options: pay for them or not.
