The event is over, no more turning in Tomestones of Pageantry

The event page states the following:

Irregular tomestones of pageantry, and item exchanges will only be available during the event period.

Unlike previous iterations, this round appears to not allow the purchase of items after the event has concluded.

You must exchange your irregular tomestones before the event ends!

Please spread the word if you see this in time. A lot of people are not only under the impression they can spend the Tomestones of Pageantry after this event ends, they're actively telling people that based off of how previous events have worked.

Last full day to do turn-ins today. The Moogle Trove ends Monday June 14, 7:59am. Don't wait to turn in those Tome of Pageantry!

I am this guy. And it really sucks. Considering the precedent they established. This does seem a tad callus of them. I mean, this really bites. Now what am I supposed to do with 500 of these dumb tokens.

Oh and I am aware it states to be redeemed only during the event. Still feels like a betrayal of my trust.

Now I have to deal with my wife’s reaction when she finds out. She’s got even more than me…
