Managing your appearance around inventory space is a nuisance and unnecessary. We remember when you added glamouring for the first time, and it's time to evolve from there because you absolutely can, AND if you coded the game correctly, it should be a JOKE. Do what Blizzard did -- if you have acquired a piece of gear, permanently add it to the glamour chest, with their dyeable model. And if you didn't map that, AT LEAST the model you already let us glamour and remove the chest limit!
1) We already know that if you have the model you based the recolor upon, you have the model information. So just add the colorations to the base information.
2) This is such a waste of inventory space.
3) This is in no way affects content difficulty. This is only player satisfaction.
4) Gatekeeping this even at maximum retainers, like I am, provides no incentive to pay for the game any further. We are still capped. This is just a nuisance.
5) You could always make us PAY for it. Fine! Add the option and I'll pay the extra $2 a month to have a comprehensive glamour chest!
6) Make the work people put in toward the modelling of extraneous pieces of gear worth something instead of being forgotten. There's numerous pieces of solo-modeled gear that COULD look nice with something else, but I pitch it. Why? Because there is no incentive to put in any work toward that preservation with the mediocre space permitted for something else that is comprehensive and appealing.
I'll clearly keep playing the game for the content, but it's such an unnecessary annoyance that I wish I could fix FOR you as a side project. Maybe this limitation is a financial incentive that you've already investigated, but seriously? What other reason do you have for this nonsense. If it's NOT for money, then it would be an issue of implementation. If anything, this is a tedious solution for an *intern*, NOT a complicated one. But then again, I didn't write your codebase, so I don't know what you did wrong to make this a problem, but it should be fixed instead of ignored.
